Мetro will work at night the New Year’s Eve and the Orthodox Christmas

St. Petersburg Metro will be open at night from 31 December 2022 to 1 January 2023 (the New Year’s Eve) and from 6 January to 7 January 2023 (the Orthodox Christmas)without a break.

All stations will be open for entrance and exit, except for:

  • Lobby 1 of Prospekt Veteranov station (way out to Dachniy Prospekt);
  • Lobby 2 of Leninskiy Prospekt station (way out to Bulvar Novatorov);
  • Lobby 1 of Devyatkino station;
  • Lobby 1 of Moskovskaya station (way out to Altayskaya Ulitsa);
  • Lobby 2 of Nevskiy Prospekt station (way out to Griboedova Canal);
  • Lobby 2 of Prospekt Slavy station;
  • Lobby 1 of Dunayskaya station;
  • Lobby 1 of Zenit station;
  • The lobby of Tekhnologicheskiy Institut-1 station;
  • The lobby of Ploschad Alexandra Nevskogo-2 station (way out to Chernoretskiy Pereulok);
  • The lobby of Dostoyevskaya station;
  • The lobby of Chernyshevskaya station.

From 00:00 to 04:30 on 1 January 2023 and from 02:00 to 04:30 on 7 January 2023 smart cards will not be sold; Internet payments will not be activated. Over this period, passengers will only be able to buy passenger tokens for cash. It will be possible to go in using either a passenger token or passes drawn up and topped up earlier.
