Intercept parking lots
Current information about park-and-ride lots (Intercept Parking) in St. Petersburg is available on the official website of the St. Petersburg State Institution "St. Petersburg City Parking Management Center": www.gcup.spb.ru.
A park-and-ride lot is a special open-air parking facility located in close proximity to terminal metro stations and major ground transport (including railway) interchange hubs. It is designed to optimize traffic flow by providing parking spaces for the temporary storage of vehicles when making trips with a transfer to public transport.
To be eligible for free parking upon exiting a park-and-ride lot, the vehicle owner must present a long-term travel pass, issued in the form of an electronic card, confirming that at least two trips on public transport were made between 5:30 AM and 11:59 PM on the same day after the vehicle was parked at the park-and-ride lot.
For the convenience of cyclists, all park-and-ride lots are equipped with free, 24-hour bicycle parking.
